What we collect, why we collect it and the control you have over your information.
We collect the details you give us when you request coverage, submit an enquiry or subscribe: your name, phone number, email address, physical location and the message you send. We also keep basic service records such as installation details and payment confirmations.
Your information is used to confirm coverage, schedule installation, provide and support your connection, process payments and respond to enquiries. We may contact you about service status, maintenance or account matters.
AthiNet does not sell customer data. Information is shared only with service partners who help deliver the service (for example installation technicians or payment processors), or where disclosure is required by Kenyan law.
Customer records are kept for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it, and is protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete data we are not required to keep. Send requests to hello@athinet.com.
